I'm sorry I can't say,
The things I need to say,
It's not that I don't want too,
But my fear gets in the way.

I wrestle with my silence,
Wile screaming deep in side,
And I'm longing to tell you,
Of these feelings that I hide.

But my fear of rejection,
Keeps them locked inside,
And you really don't know,
How much I've tried.

But I trip upon my words,
And I lose my will to speak,
And you could never know,
How hard this is for me.

I tremble every time,
I try to say the words,
But they catch inside my throat,
And still go on unheard.

So if you hear this song,
Then you will know it's true,
That with all my beating heart,
The one I adore is you.
